Are you guyz SICK AND TIRED of hearing me going to this track?!! Well this is the closest track and it's pretty technical without too many FAST turns...ideal for a try-hard racer like me!
I thought I'd walk you thru the course this time....this was a special event speedoptions and speedtrial put together...LOTZ of track time this time....
 
 

This is Turn one - Go all the way to the left (even into the pits) and pin your throttle thru this turn....I'm usually going around 95-100mph thru this turn with the tyres squealing for mercy...I apex in the middle of those corner kerbs...
 
 

Turn 2 - Hard Brake and downshift to 2nd and late apex the turn to set up for Turn 3. This corner is really hard to get right...most cars carry too much speed into this turn and understeer off the track...SLOW IN/FAST OUT = FASTER
 
 

Turn 3 - This is a weird turn...everyone takes a different racing line but I hug the inside on entry and let it drift out and then drift in to enter the very very tight turn 4. Luke takes it wide and cut in at the 'little kink' mid corner....I think I should his line because my car is understeering a lot thru the turn...(NICE 2002 racecar behind me)
 

After a few more corners, we enter the carousel which is a banked long sweeper in 3rd gear. My gearing ratio would top out in 2nd thru this turn so I go in 3rd....which is kinda slow initially so I turn in and pretty much get on the gas hard all the way thru the turn. The car understeers here too but I have tonnes of room to drift out....if you get this turn right...MAN..u can go really fast on the backstraight.

YIPEEEEE...Back straight!!! You can hit almost 100mph before you have to brake into a bloody BLIND chicane...very very scary...I've yet to brake late on this tricky little section...I guess I'm just a WUSS. There you have it!! Streets of Willow 101...hope you enjoyed this one!
