This is a little introduction on the car I first owned.

The beautiful silver Subaru Legacy RS looked pretty ordinary but the performance was phenomenal for the money. I was originally shopping for a Impreza WRX (no STi cuz mummy said no manual...sigh...) so I opted for either a Supra, FTO, Galant VR4 or one of these. I set my eyes on this car and bought it that day. The interior was black and grey (most had red/black seats...kinda nasty). The seats were very supportive and comfortable, acceleration was fabulous, handling was flawless and the entire car felt very agile and bullet proof.

Ok here is what you've been waiting for....what can this car do? Well..considering it's an auto....not much really. I couldn't really play around with this car as much but it gave me my introduction to 4 wheel drifts and some good o' traffic light drags. I didn't take this car to the track at all even though I had the opportunity to run this baby at Pukekohe Raceway one time. I guess I was too chicken back then. The car is powered by a 2L Quad-Cam Flat 4 with twin turbochargers that came in at 1500rpm and 3500rpm. I guess the engineers never designed this to be a hot-rod so the acceleration was never abrupt...always very smooth. It felt like it was gliding along more than anything. The handling is one thing thou....the car literally had no sway no matter how fast I went around the corners. Grip was ok due to relatively small tyres (205/50ZR16). The sound of the engine is one thing to note. It was just a loud boxer bark that I still love til this day and age (23 now...). If you havne't heard a Subaru...email me and I'll send you a file...it'll amaze you what this 4 cylinder sounds like.
 

Performance Figures:>

I can't really give you any cuz I never took it to the track but I can tell you that this car hits 0-100km in about 7.5 secs. Not bad for an auto. I know the Manual ones hit it at 6.5 or something but I didn't have the priveledge of owning a manual at the time so we'll just make do with 7.5. It was able to kill many other cars anyways so I wasn't really looking for boost in hp.
