Engineer: Someone who designs the way roads, bridges, machines are built.
Sounds pretty lame huh?
Why the heck did I become an engineer?!?!
Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to
be a doctor, that is until I discovered cars.
I immediately trashed the doctor idea and aimed
at becoming an industrial designer. I was accepted into UNSW ( University
of New South Wales, Australia) but I didn't go...Until this day I still
wonder why I didn't go..hmm...stupidity kicking in? This profession paid
twice as much as an engineer...I would eventually get to design car bodies....printers....atm
machines.....cell phones...office chairs...speakers....stereos....ok I
might as well go jump off a building...
Essential Qualities of an engineering student:
1. Patience with professors that get a kick out of seeing you work on the same problem for 5 hours or more and still get nowhere near the answer.
2. Patience with professors that love to see you fail their class just because they failed it in college as well.
3. Patience because you won't be seeing any girls for the rest of your college career.
4. Patience reading text books that seemed to be written for monkeys.
5. Five years at college. You can do it in four years if you don't want to have fun.
6. A friend that seems to understand anything and everything about engineering.
7. Ability to find various ways of relieving that stress building inside you....
8. Ability to work those ultra fancy calculator that puts super computers to shame....
9. An understanding that you won't care about what you look like at school after a few days...
10. Pride: Atleast you're not doing business like
98% of the population. This one is actually somewhat challenging! yah right....!
